Beginnings of a new capsule collection. I've always created full outfits but this time I decided to try creating each piece separately so they would work better as a collection rather than each outfit. We'll see how it turns out! 

This is a window of outfits I put together today. I centred the colour scheme around one of my favourite pieces at SKIRT right now which is the tunic dress with the bold tiger print

 Im back!! These pieces are from one of the first shows I did!! This was in 2012 for a black history showcase at the Laurier University. The models I worked with were awesome!!! I designed and made the clothing and the jewelry! These pieces were designed to be simple and easy to wear but fashionable. Each top had a bandeau under-piece as well as an over-piece so that you could change the way you wore it. Seulment l'amour ♥

 One of my favorite labels Kenzo has teamed up with one  of my favourite jewelry designers and have created an exciting jungle inspired jewelry collection. I was excited when I first heard of this collaboration and I love what they have come up with together. I love the fact that Delfina kept to her chunky industrial style but blended it well with the urban jungle feel that Keno has for its S/S 2013 collection. Here are my favorite pieces from the collection!!!!

I decided to start this blog to document my inspirations, give my reviews on things and designers I love, and document my progress as an aspiring fashion designer! I decided to start on a journey to becoming a fashion designer a few years ago but fashion and design have always been in my blood.             Many people tag this as one of the most influential guitar solos. To me it was one of the first times I have seen someone use instrumental music and portray a greater message than many musicians have done over the course of their lifetime. I love when meaning and real creativity is injected into music and not just another cookie cutter song written by someone trying to get famous and make money. The things you do in life should be just as worthwhile to you if the whole world sees it or no one at all. Whether you are rewarded or completely ignored. If you take a second and think about it  the most renowned musicians have always stayed true to themselves. Until music gets back to that my radio will stay off.

    Ella Fitzgerald is possibly my favourite jazz vocalist's ever. Her smooth voice and amazing pitch gets me every time.Oh if only I could one day sing as well as her :)

Hey... Just got a new camera (well i should just say camera.. cuz i never had one before) Ill be blogging a lot more and posting pics. Im gonna try to at least post twice a week cuz im suuupppeer busy. If any one but me happens to be reading this blog Im starting this blog just to keep me focused. I figure if I have to stop and reflect on my life regularly it'll be easier to see where I'm going and what I have to do to get there. Anyways 'till next time

 Sooooo.. Ive come to the realization that my life is exceedingly boring so I've vowed to myself to at least to try one new thing every week. I don't want to look back at my life realizing that i have done nothing even remotely interesting. Im 20 years old and still young and i still have a lot of living left in me. So from now until my 21st birthday on May 24th I promise to at least attempt to do something new every week. Ill try and keep this updated with pics and vids soo until my next post
